The Lions Club of Brisbane West was proud to award Lion John Nankivell Life Membership of Lions at our last meeting by Club Secretary Ross Munro on the 17th October, 2023.

This was a very rare and notable occasion meaning the Club has decided his contribution to Lions was of such merit that the Club is prepared to meet the cost of his continued membership due to the contribution he has made to Lions.

John showed incredible leadership in the Club coupled with the outsized contribution he made to recording the Intellectual Property associated with the Ipswich 100 Bike Ride. John recorded the location of every directional sign directing 4 rides over 25, 50, 100 and 160 km.
